Position Summary

The Graduate and Adult Learning Enrollment department at the University of Indianapolis is seeking an Associate Director. This is a full-time, 12 month exempt staff position. Some evening and weekend work is required.

The primary responsibility of the Associate Director of Graduate and Adult Learning Enrollment is to manage the recruitment and admissions processes for specific units assigned and meeting or exceeding enrollment targets as assigned. This position may supervise and train both staff and student employees. The Associate Director will ensure CRM system (Radius) is being used effectively to enhance and expand the use of Radius to support enrollment goals and priorities. Candidates must have the ability to communicate knowledge of degree programs and certificates, including admissions requirements and policies, to prospective students and applicants.

• Manage, coach and train staff to achieve desired goals. Manage the distribution of work related to recruiting, admissions and enrollment across the team.
• Review enrollment data relative to staff performance and adjust staff responsibilities and projects to meet enrollment goals.
• Develop appropriate reports to manage workloads and evaluate performance.
• Provide leadership in meeting or exceeding the enrollment targets.
• Set clear expectations, review progress, provide feedback and guidance, holding people accountable.
• Supervise, train and evaluate student workers and graduate assistants as assigned.
• In the absence of the Executive Director or director, the Associate Director is responsible for making critical decisions and managing the overall operation.

Special Instructions to Applicants
Required Education/Experience/Skills (Minimum Qualifications)

Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s Degree preferred. 1-3 years of experience in higher education, marketing, sales, business or related field.

Desired Education/Experience/Skills (Additional Qualifications)

Previous supervisory experience managing professional and student staff is preferred. Enrollment CRM and Banner experience desired.
