Position Summary

University of Indianapolis is accepting applications for an administrative assistant in the Office of International Services. This is a full-time, 12-month, hourly-paid staff position with full-time benefits.

This position will support the director of International Services and various offices within the International Services suite. Functions of this position include providing reception services, scheduling meetings and events, notarizing documents, data entry, processing invoices, maintaining supplies, and other clerical duties.

Required Education/Experience/Skills (Minimum Qualifications)

In addition to serving as a U.S. Notary Public, candidates must be able to register with USCIS as a designated school official (DSO). This requires permanent residence (PR) or U.S. citizenship. This position requires strong communication skills, a high level of attention to detail, knowledge of copy machines and multi-line phone systems, and proficiency using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint. Familiarity with Google email, documents and drive is a plus. A high school degree is required and three to five years of experience as an administrative assistant.
